Ang, ng, mga, ay, sa, si — whole words, not sounded letter by letter.
ang
Don't sound it out letter by letter. Learn it as a whole word.
ng
Different from the ng in ngipin. This ng links words: bahay ng bata.
mga
Said ma-nga, not m-g-a.
ay
Si Ana ay bata. A function word, not only the ay in bahay.
sa
Tiny but whole: sa bahay, sa mesa.
si
Si Ana, si Ama — used before a person's name.
ni
Bahay ni Ana — of a person.

Para kay Ana.
